Easily the most aggressive and dangerous of the Skab People, the Wasp Skabs have many enemies of their own creation. One of the most frightening aspects of the Wasp breed is that they believe heavily in the concept of “overkill”. They will gladly spear an enemy multiple times with their poisonous stinger to be absolutely certain that they will never rise again. This makes them very dangerous on the battlefield and also one of the most highly sought after soldiers whenever the Pit Lords are about to launch a new attack on a humanoid settlement.
While the Scorpion Skabs like to boast that they are the most fearsome warriors within the Badlands, Wasp Skabs don’t need to boast… they just go out and prove it. Capable of very quick flight, Wasp Skabs believe strongly in the head on approach to battle and will fly directly at their enemy with their poisonous stinger aimed forward like a spear. This would be a scary sight in itself but then you have to take into account that they also possess a hard exoskeleton, which allows them to withstand high speeds and rough landings.
While some Wasp Skabs are social, most adults from this breed are solitary and don’t belong to a single tribe. The males, in particular, will travel from hive to hive spreading their seed whenever possible. This solitary nature will often lead to violence among Wasp Skab tribes who will show no mercy even if they are fighting their own kind.
Wasp Skabs are unique in that they do not hunt or gather. Instead, they will fly around in large swarms looking for rival tribal grounds that they can invade and take over. They leave no survivors alive and no resource unclaimed in these fights.
