The Rojen have worked very hard to keep their society and culture a secret from outsiders. What we do know has been from fuzzy second-hand accounts from travelers who were fortunate enough to stumble across one of their encampments and live to tell the tale, which is not always the case.
An aggressive and tall humanoid race, the Rojens wear masks to intimidate their opponents. These masks are always highly decorated with intricate carvings. It’s been observed that they have different masks for many different types of occasions. The actual number of different masks that they wear tends to vary from tribe member to tribe member so an exact number is impossible to even hypothesize.
Born with four arms, they are trained to be sword masters by the time they reach adulthood and choose to wield a different type of sword with every arm. Despite the extra weight that the two extra arms add, they are deceptively quick and agile. The youngest of the Rojen only wield their two given swords in their first battles. They are expected to have collected the other two from fallen opponents within mere months of their first time on a battlefield. The two swords that they start with, as their masks, are often times highly decorated and sometimes even bejeweled.
Found mostly in forests (though over the years they have started to scatter to other parts of Erridose), they show no mercy to those who intrude into their territory.
