Another of the larger varieties of Pikin, Mountain Pikins are unique in that they have mastered the art of stonework. Incredibly muscular, this breed is capable of crafting (and using) weapons and armor made from pure stone.
Standing about as tall as an above average human male, this breed tends to move slower than other Pikins, due to wearing their heavy stone armor. That doesn’t really matter though because they also hit the hardest out of all the breeds. Any creature unlucky enough to find themselves on the receiving end of one of their clubbing blows won’t be seeing stars. They won’t be seeing anything because Mountain Pikins rarely have to swing twice to kill their target. Along with their large muscles, Mountain Pikins also have tough feet with large, strong claws at the end which they can use to grip stone surfaces allowing them to climb quickly up sheer mountain cliffs with relative ease.
Mountain Pikins worship the goddess of mountains , Blevnaath, but are not big on ceremony. While this breed does have space in their lives for worship, they tend to be too busy with stone crafting to actually conduct elaborate rituals.
In terms of leadership, Mountain Pikins are the only breed of this particular monster to have multiple tribal leaders. While there is a supreme leader of every tribe, this leader has the ability to delegate smaller tasks and decisions to sub-leaders who handle day to day operations within the tribe.
Mountain Pikins have strained relations with other Pikins breeds. While they would trade with other breeds if given the opportunity, their goods are generally too heavy for other breeds to wield so they don’t see much point in bothering in the first place.
