After entering the Black Pit, the poisonous mist attacked the former god of the Energy Order, Faydis, in his vital organs, including his lungs, turning him into the one of the most disfigured of the Pit Lords, Lord Void. The green mist damaged his lungs so badly, that not even magic could reverse its affects, and Lord Void was then forced to wear a breathing apparatus from that point onward, which causes his voice to sound robotic and monotone. Lord Void is a calculating individual who sees it as his personal mission to carry out his assignments flawlessly and without argument.
This fastidiousness to detail tends to lead to petty arguments between him and his brother, Lord Brimstone, who is usually much less successful in his missions. These fights between brothers tend to bother Lord Cerebrum and Lady of Bones to no end and often leads to punishment for both of them.
Carrying with him the magic from the Energy Order, he is capable of beyond superhuman feats of energy expulsion and berserker rage when engaged in battle, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his powers. With his intelligence and willingness to come up with new, fun ways to torture people, he has his own lab within The Black Pit where he concocts new alchemist potions, which are usually lethal to even the most fortuitous of warriors.
