Found in any lush forest around Erridose, Forest Pikins are the most common breed found in the world. Standing at about half the height of an average human male, the most common weapon found in their hands are crude spears or simple bows. Experts in setting clever traps within their forest domains, Forest Pikins are capable of memorizing every branch within their home territory which also makes them experts at navigation through said forests.
Getting into a fight with Forest Pikins is ill-advised as not only will you have to deal with their clever traps but also their unorthodox fighting tactics. In the same battle, you might have to navigate traps, dodge a volley of arrows coming from the bushes, and fight off Forest Pikins standing on each other’s shoulders while swinging around daggers.
Forest Pikins go through new leaders like humanoids go through clothes. It is impossible for humanoids to trade with this aggressive breed as every single time they show up to deal, they will have to establish relations with a brand new leader. Forest Pikins tend to only deal with their own breed in terms of bartering or defending their forest from outsiders. They have no real interest in dealing with other breeds of Pikins.
Forest Pikins have their own religion (if you want to call it that) which is closely aligned with humanoid druids. Worshipping the goddess of trees, Vibhaashi, the Forest Pikins are one of the only breeds of Pikins to realize their place within the circle of life and give thanks to the animals that they hunt for food and natural building materials.
